We are seeking an Active Living Assistant to join our team at our Cristalina PARC community in Kelowna. As an Active Living Assistant, you work closely with our Active Living Manager to support our residents, staff, and volunteers to deliver holistic wellness programs, lively social events, excursions, and more! This includes: * Assisting the Active Living Manager in core programs to engage residents socially, educationally, culturally and encourage participation in activity-oriented programs. * Supporting the Active Living Manager with ideas and best practices for Active Living programming entertainment to reflect resident interest and to stimulate new interest. * Providing car driving services on a regular scheduled basis. * Cultivating a respectful, warm environment for residents and staff. It takes a special kind of person to work here – does this sound like you? * You have a Class 4 Unrestricted License with a minimum of 3 years' driving experience. * You have a minimum of 1-year experience in working with seniors in recreation function. * You’re a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing work environment. * You’re an effective communicator capable of fostering strong interpersonal relationships with residents, their families, and employees. * You’re committed to continuous learning and development, and fostering the growth of your people.
