Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands is currently seeking a driven and energetic individual to join our growing business in eastern Ontario as a BUSPERSON.  Under the supervision of the Sous Chef, this position is responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, culinary equipment and utensils including all dishes, glasses and pots/pans while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Duties and Responsibilities Include:  * Organizes, rinses, sprays and loads dishes/cutlery into dishwasher or washes by hand as required * Checks completed load for cleanliness and re-wash if necessary * Reports any malfunctions, breakage or discrepancies to the supervisor * Stores all clean items in the appropriate area * Sorts and removes garbage and recycling * Cleans all general kitchen areas including floors, counters and workspaces * Assists with the receipt of goods into the work area and stock shelves * Prepares some food products as requested * May clean general and common areas in some locations * Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments * Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees) * Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations * Performs other duties as assigned or directed. Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications: * High School Diploma * Ability to exceed internal customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication * Minimum 6 months work experience Since the fun never stops at Shorelines, candidates must be ready and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights, based on business needs.
