General Maintenance-FLD

About this role

Key Accountabilities: * Work the track ie screen, pack, open using tractors and or trucks * Winter use dump trucks to remove snow * Work loader, Grader to clean up and put stone down in dump trucks * Look after all property maintenance including but not limited to; grass cutting and weed whacking, trimming bushes, tree removal and pruning, watering flowers, picking up garbage on property * Clean ship and Lasix barn, muck stalls * Power wash all tracks equipment and vehicles * Build up screens (welding) * Snow ploughing, salting roads and walkways, shovelling sidewalks and clearing snow on all property  * Keeping Maintenance shop clean and organized. * Any other duties as assigned * Education and Qualification Requirements: * Valid Driver’s Licence * Health & Safety * Safe equipment training * Able to operate loaders and all equipment  * Must be able to work around horses * Some knowledge of the horse racing industry preferred
