  Instrumentation and Control Technician   Permanent position – Unionized Position to fill 1 Code ME26-06 The hourly rate ranges from 47,01 $ to 53,96 $ Deadline to apply august 7, 2026 The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.     Privileges & benefits  * Competitive compensation along with additional benefits such as bonuses, as well as a comprehensive range of social benefits including group insurance, a generous retirement plan, telemedicine, PAEF, and many others. * Enriching and stimulating learning opportunities. * A friendly, committed, and collaborative work environment.   Future challenges Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, the Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for: * Performing maintenance on electrical equipment and resolving associated problems. * Conducting calibration of production equipment, including pH probes, ORP probes, nuclear densimeters, and other equipment. * Repairing production equipment and restoring them to service. * Installing new equipment. * Carrying out modifications and electrical installations at low and medium voltage. * Performing pneumatic modifications and installations. * Carrying out any other related tasks associated with the position.   Profile required * Hold a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Instrumentation and Industrial Control (or equivalent); * Have 1 to 8 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and installation. * Have experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics. * Ability to diagnose issues with various equipment and interpret plans and specifications. * Familiarity with different types of probes: pH, turbidity, conductivity, balance, level. Nice to have  * Hold a "C" license in electricity. * Familiarity with AutoCAD software. * Proficiency in Word and Excel software. * Prior experience using maintenance software. * Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French / English) is an asset to facilitate and enhance our internal communications. * Familiarity with Schneider products: variable frequency drives, starters, programmable logic controllers.     Skills sought * Work with a diverse and multicultural team. * Autonomy, dynamism, positivity, respect, team spirit and versatility. * Ability to work under pressure and maintain good interpersonal relationships.   The masculine is used for the sole purpose of lightening the text and designates both the feminine and the masculine.
